The strongest part of my visual is how close it looks to the original picture. I could improve the visual by transitioning the colors better as it's kind of noticeable where huge color contrasts are. I had the original picture in a different layer and had a layer on top to highlight the color shifts for reference by using the paint brush tool. I used the eye dropper tool to pick up the colors used in the original picture. Using a white new layer with the highlighted edges layer on top, I used the colors from the eye dropper tool and then used the paint brush tool to start filling in the picture with various shades of color. After that, I used the mixer brush tool to start blending in the colors and making the picture look like a detailed painting of the original picture. The easiest part was painting over the color shifts of the original picture as it didn't really take much time. The most difficult part was blending in the colors because having to use different brushes and brush sizes was a pain to keep up with for different sections of the visual. I demonstrated each objective by using the new tools taught for this lesson as well as tools used in previous lessons. I showed plenty of detail in the picture as well as blending the colors. If I could do this project again, I would probably choose a picture with more detail as this is just a picture of a sunset and it really only uses shades of black, gray, white, blue and yellow. I would rate my effort a 9/10 because I think this is the best thing I've made in this class and I know there's always more room to improve the picture if there's no deadline.

Hybrid Animal
The strongest part of my visual is how the colors blend in with each other to make it not look like it's a bunch of random animal parts pasted on. What could be improved on would be blending in the parts instead of having them placed at places were they can get away with no blending (ex. the tail's placement looks like it's further back in the picture than the back right leg). I used the clone stamp tool to make the background look as if it was never touched when it actually had more added to the bottom and top of the picture. I used the quick selection tool to grab the animal parts from other pictures and pasted them to the main picture. I also used it to then select the parts and change the color balance and levels. I used the erase tool to smooth out some of the edges to make it look like each part is connected. The easiest part of this activity was using the quick selection tool to copy and paste the animal parts to the main picture. The most difficult part of this activity was finding the right animals to use for the main picture. I used the giraffe as the main body, a flamingo's fluffy body to be the head, a toucan's beak to be the mouth, a peacock's wings and whatever is on its head, and a kangaroo tail all by using the tools given. Pop Art Portrait
The magic wand tool made it possible to select any shade of color the picture had after making it black and white with only 5-6 shades of color due to the cutout filter applied to it. I made my portraits unique by applying different filters to each picture. Some would add texture to the pictures or darken/glow the outlines of each shade of color. Some pictures would have complementary colors (orange-blue, green-red/pink) while others used more colors to bring out each part of the picture.
The strongest part of my visual is the color contrast as most are complementary to each other and lets certain parts of the visuals to stand out more. The visual can be improved by adding more filters to make each picture as different from each other rather than the color choice making them look different. I made the original picture have adjusted brightness/contrast and then set it to black and white. From there I set each picture to have 5-6 shades of color and create a duplicate layer. I then start to replace the grays with complementary colors after selecting the shades of color with the magic wand tool and using the paint tool to set the color. I made adjustments to the curves to give more color to the picture and then apply filters to make the portraits look different from each other. The easiest part of the activity was just having to mess with different filters to get the whole picture to change in an instant. The difficult part of the activity was picking several colors to blend in and not have any major repeats when the 4 meet. I met the objective of the activity by using the layer tool and magic wand tool to highlight the shades of color. I'd take a different picture with better lighting if I could do this again because the picture seemed to have huge areas of one shade of color after forcing it to have 5-6. I'd rate my effort a 8/10 as I was really lazy about trying to get a good picture and I didn't use as many filters as I'd like to make the 4 portraits very different from each other.

Clone Wars
The strongest part of my visual is the locations of the clones and the different poses they have. This makes the picture unique and uses the angle of the picture to its advantage. Something that I can approve on would be setting up better lighting for the pictures used for cloning. This made the original pictures very bright and yellowish and having a better location for the pictures could have resolved this. I used the layer mask tool with the brush tool in order to get the clones to appear in the above picture on the ordered list of pictures. I used a black brush on the places where the clones would be to bring them into the next picture. I also adjusted the levels and color to get rid of the yellow tint in the combined image. The easiest part of the project was lining up the pictures because lowering the opacity of the above pictures allowed me to understand where they need to go. The most difficult part of the project was finding a location to take the pictures because I never had anyone to help. I just used a 10 second timer on my iPhone leaning on an object to take the pictures when there was no sunlight as I took the pictures at midnight, forgetting that the pictures were due the next day. I demonstrated the objective because I used 5 clones in 5 unique locations and poses by using the layer mask tool to place all clones into one picture. I would take pictures with better lighting if I could do this project again because my picture had a yellow tint but when adjusting the levels and color, the best I could do was make the picture darker when a lot of my picture has dark colors mixed together. I'd rate my effort an 8 because I could've taken more time to take better pictures, however the rest of the work was done in an easy and quick manner.

Kaleidoscope
All 3 of my kaleidoscopes use bi-axial
symmetry. The shapes caused by the bi-axial symmetry made each picture unique
as it adds a nice structure to base the rest of the picture on. The strong part
of my pictures are the structures created from the shapes caused with bi-axial
symmetry. I could have used something other than the bucket tool to get colors
into the picture.
I used a lot of
triangles formed from the polygonal lasso tool in order to do most of the very
back parts of the pictures and to make sure certain shapes were bi-axial when
entering the center horizontal and vertical axis. The magic wand tool was to
get more than just geometrical shapes so the pictures could have something
unique to them. The easiest part of the project was lining the different shapes
up to form the symmetry. The most difficult part was using the lasso tools
because of how they would sometimes be off when trying to make a base and
height triangle of 5 inches perfectly which would then cause gap issues which
I'd have to fix.
I achieved the
goal of performing symmetry by making sure each shape would be symmetrical to
then allow the picture to be bi-axial. I would do the coloring differently
because instead of just replacing colors with one color, it'd be better to do
shading of different colors with each object. I'd rate my effort a 7/10 because
I feel like the pictures could've had more going on but i wasted too much time
figuring out how to use the tools in the first 2 classes which forced me to
rush out the kaleidoscopes.
